Radio Creme Brulee – Record your request

11 September 2011 One Comment
This blog belongs to Radio Creme Brulee – an internet music radio station that broadcasts globally.

We have always believed that Radio Creme Brulee is a two-way discovery avenue. While we absolutely enjoy showcasing music by great pop/rock artists for your listening pleasure AND introducing you to great music from today and from earlier eras, we hope that you will also introduce us to new music by sending us requests either through Twitter, through our contact form, or our facebook fan page. We have discovered some amazing music thanks to requests from all of you. More importantly, some of you have introduced us to music from bands that we thought had retired ages ago. For this, we are very thankful to all of you. It makes our job a lot more fun and exciting.

We now want to take “song requests” to a whole new level. While we would love for all of you to continue using twitter, the facebook fan page, and our online “contact us” form to send us requests, we also want to give you the option to send us a “recorded request”. Simply record your voice telling us the song you would like to hear on Radio Creme Brulee and send it to us via e-mail. The e-mail address is pranavc@radiocremebrulee.com.  Please also tell us your name and which city and country you are listening to our station from.

So how do you do this? Here goes:

What do you need for a record request?

– A computer/smartphone
– A microphone (smartphones come with these built-in!)
– A software that can record your voice (ALL computers have at least a “Sound Recorder” software on them).

Rules for the request

– The recording must NOT be longer than 20 seconds.

What would a sample request sound like?

Here is an example:

— Hi, this is Julie from Brooklyn, New York. I would love to hear “The Flood” by Take That.———-

OR

—- Hi, this is Mike from from Los Angeles. Please could by play “Stand” by Lenny Kravitz.———–

Why should you send us a recorded request?

Your request will get 8 plays a day on Radio Creme Brulee on the day your request is aired AND you and your friends will get to hear what you sound like on a global radio broadcast!

So what are you waiting for? Send us your request NOW!!!!
