On May 6 (2013), the sequel to a story that we thought ended 25 years ago is about to be unveiled. The unthinkable is scheduled to happen. 25 years after the release of their landmark album “Turn Back The Clock“, Johnny Hates Jazz is rising from the ashes to release their new album “Magnetized”. The album is already available for pre-ordering RIGHT HERE (Grab your copy before the album is released in your country!). Some might think of Johnny Hates Jazz as the band that churned out the timeless classics “Shattered Dreams” and “Turn Back The Clock”. But here at Radio Creme Brulee, it takes a whole lot more for us to get excited about a band’s return. For those of you that are regular listeners of our 24/7 global broadcast, you would know that where Johnny Hates Jazz fell short in quantity, they more than compensated for with quality. Their first two albums boast a fair share of gems. We would like to celebrate those gems on a grander scale with all you listeners before the new album “Magnetized“ is released.
We are happy to announce the celebration of “Johnny Hates Jazz Request week” with all of you from April 8 – April 14, 2013. As part of “Johnny Hates Jazz Request” week, we are accepting requests for ANY song by Johnny Hates Jazz (including the new single “Magnetized” that we have NOT debuted yet on our radio station). But we want to make this even more interesting. Send us an audio recording of your “voice request” of the song by Johnny Hates Jazz that you would like to see played on Radio Creme Brulee. The “voice request” should be not more than 20 seconds long. We will play your voice request before the song AND we will play your request 8 times on the day (once every 3 hours) that we air it. We will also send you an e-mail to inform you on which day of the week your request will get multiple plays. That way, we know you will not miss the song. Take this opportunity to celebrate the band that released one of the greatest albums of the 80s and while doing so, get your voice heard on a global broadcast. You can listen to our station from anywhere in the world via www.radiocremebrulee.com. We are accepting requests from ALL OVER THE WORLD since you can listen to us anywhere. As we had mentioned earlier, We will tell you in advance on what day we plan to play your request.

The first request for “Johnny Hates Jazz Request week” will be aired on April 8, 2013 and the last requests will be aired on April 14, 2013 – so get your requests in QUICKLY! Only 21 people will get their requests played.
What do you need for a “voice” request?
– A computer or a smartphone
– A microphone (your smartphone comes with this!)
– A software that can record your voice (ALL computers have at least a “Sound Recorder” software on them).
Rules for the request
– The recording must NOT be longer than 20 seconds.
What would a sample request sound like?
