One of the greatest achievements for a musician is to be remembered. It is a reflection of survival of the person’s contribution to the art form of music. British pop phenomenon Culture Club’s visually outrageous and vocally stunning frontman Boy George will definitely go down as one of the most unforgettable faces and voices in pop music history. 30 years into this musical career, he is slated to release what just might be his most commercial material in over a decade. His new album “This Is What I Do” is slated for release on October 28, 2013 internationally and on October 29, 2013 in the US. We were lucky enough to catch up with Boy George in the midst of his hectic DJ tour in the US on Friday (October 18, 2013). We chatted about the new album and his plans to continue working on new material with his former bandmates from Culture Club. Here is a full-length clip of our interview with the supremely awesome Boy George:

@patricia: Thanks so much for the comment. King Of Everything captures a great mood. More importantly, it is nice to see Boy George finally peace with himself. I think next year is going to even bigger for him as he reignites the magic with Culture Club. Hope you enjoyed the interview. Chatting with George was quite a privilege.
Hope the CC reunion and album actually happens. He has promised this before but it never happens. But you did a brilliant job of interviewing him. You were super nice, but you pushed him on the CC thing. George is not the easiest person to deal with, but you handled him perfectly. You complimented him, but you were your own person and had your opinions and pushed him to get the CC album done, I think this was the most brilliant interview of George I have ever heard. Not as big on King of Everything as you, but still thought the interview was brilliant.
@Frannie: Thank you so much for the compliment. I really hope he finishes the CC album. He seems really enthusiastic about it. He was a super pleasant guy to chat with. I hope I can do this again with all four of them next year! Thanks once again for the comment.
I agree with everything Frannie said. I loved your interview with George and I appreciate that you knew so much about his music. I have been a die hard fan for over 30 years and I am glad he is back in America. I get to see him in LA this Saturday 10/26 very excited. You tube brought me to this site and I am glad I found you. Thanks again for spotlighting REAL talent!!
@Alex: Thank you so much for the comment. It was very kind of George to squeeze in time between landing in San Francisco and his show that night. It was an absolute pleasure interviewing him.
