TheCorrs-reunionIn the mid-90s, an unlikely pop group of musically inclined siblings rose to prominence and captured the hearts of audiences worldwide. Their potent concoction of power-pop, celtic embellishments and lead singer Andrea Corr‘s achingly beautiful vocals was irresistible. The Corrs were one of Ireland’s hottest exports since U2 and The Cranberries and their winning formula kept them in the limelight for almost a decade. Their last album “Home” (released in 2005) was dedicated to their deceased mother and featured covers of traditional Irish songs. This was the album with the least commercial potential and it also marked the beginning of a decade-long hiatus. Popular opinion suggests that absence makes the heart grow fonder. This couldn’t be more true than it is in the minds of fans of The Corrs across the globe. Fortunately, for fans (us included), The Corrs have announced their reunion and are currently working on a new album. The band will make their first appearance in over a decade at BBC Radio 2’s “Live at Hyde Park” festival on September 13, 2015. This is the moment fans have been waiting for. To celebrate the announcement of their reunion, and their return to stage, we are inviting our listeners and fans of The Corrs to participate in a week-long “request” event.

Send us an audio recording of your “voice request” of ANY song by The Corrs that you would like to see played on Radio Creme Brulee. The “voice request” should be not more than 20 seconds long. We will play your voice request before the song AND we will play your request 8 times on the day (once every 3 hours) that we air it. We will also send you an e-mail to inform you on which day of the weekend your request will get multiple plays. That way, we know you will not miss the song. Take this opportunity to celebrate one of Ireland’s hottest musical exports and while doing so, get your voice heard on a global broadcast. You can listen to our station from anywhere in the world via www.radiocremebrulee.com. We are accepting requests from ALL OVER THE WORLD since you can listen to us anywhere.
